Let's face it: As cute as is it is to see a one-year-old dressed up for Halloween in a giant pumpkin suit that only their face and feet hang out of, it just isn't practical. So many of the costumes available at stores are adorable on the hanger but just don't work for little ones.
You can't fit them in their carseat or stroller, it is a pain to put the costume on and off, they likely aren't comfortable and their mobility is limited. If there's one thing I've learned as a mom, its that if your baby is uncomfortable, they'll definitely let you know (cue the tears).
